Factotum ran a good race and outgauied Thistle Do when it came to the final drive. Thistle Do was much used In racing with Hyperion and tired under punishment. The latter, evidently not at his best,, showed the most early fcneed, but gave way In the stretch when hard pressed. Edgely ran well to the stretch. Betsy BInford had worked well or the race and showed speed, but was tiring f ist at the end. St. Joanne finished well. Melting ran well to the stretch and tired. Sir Caruthers was always in the leading division, forced his way to the front under a drive in the stretch and won going away. Incantation had no mishaps, was in a good position all the way and tired at the end and had all she could do to stall off Anna Smith. The latter showed superior early speed, but could not last.
