NOTES OF THE TURF. Ed Ball, Molesey and Macy Jr. are three of the horses J. A. Bennet will race at Ascot during the coming winter and all will be well worth following. Jockey T. Clark, who came east from California. last spring, able to ride at less than 100 pounds, has grown so rapidly of late that 110 is difficult for him and be is still taking on weight. An American sire of thoroughbreds in Ireland has made good. He is Richard Crokers Americus, by Emperor of Norfolk Clara D. Another American horse that has sired winners in that country is Ramapo, winner of the Suburban and Metropolitan Handicaps In 1894. Cards are out for the marriage pf Jockey .T. Martin and Miss May Mittnocht. Wednesday, November 7. The young couple will go on an automobile trip for their honeymoon. Martin will go to the Crescent City for the winter, where Dick Watklns will look after his engagements.
