CITY PARK JOCKEY CLUBS RICH STAKES. The conditions of twenty-one stakes offered by the City Pnrk Jockey Club, of New Orleans, appear elsewhere in this issue of Dally Racing Form. En--tries will close ,at"midnlght of rrSaturilay, November 30. This means, that owners" who intend to race-their horses at New Orleans have no great amount of time to waste before makiug their stake entries. Racing should be of the best at New Orleans during the coming winter. The two jockey clubs there will alternate and owners will have a chance to race for the stakes offered by both, a distinct advantage as compared with last winter. Of the twenty-one stakes four will be run this year, viz. : December 10 Initial Handicap, all ages, ,500 added; 1 mile. December 15 Test Stakes, all ages, ,000 added; 3-4 mile. December 19 Planters Stakes, two-year-olds, ,000 added; 7-8 mile. December 22 Cypress Handicap, three-year-olds and over, ,500 added; 1 1-8 miles. The other events will be run off in the course of the winter and spring of 1907, and together with the dates set for their decision are the following: Jenuary 8 Old Hickory Stakes, three-year-olds and over, ,250 added; 1 1-4 miles. January 12 Tulane Selling Stakes, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added: 1 mile. January 16 Cosmopolitan Hotel Hurdle, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added; 1 1-4 miles. January 19 King Cotton Stakes, three-year-olds and over, ,250 added; 1 mile. February 4 Lagarde Stakes, three-year-olds, ,000 added; 1 mile. Februarv 9 Heasllp Cup, three-year-olds and .over, ,500 added; 2 miles. February 12 Rex Handicap, three-year-olds and over, ,500 added; 1 1-8 miles. Februarv 16 American Turf Association Handicap, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added; 3 miles. March 6 National Stakes, two-year-olds, ,000 added; 3 1-2 furlongs. March 9 Pickwick Steeplechase, three-year-olds and upward, ,000 added; full course. March 13 Louisiana Stakes, two-year-olds, ,000 added; 3 1-2 furlongs. March 16 City Park Derby, three-year-olds, ,000 added; 1 1-4 miles. April 3 Magnolia Selling Stakes, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added; 7-8 mile. April 6 Lyric Handicap, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added; 1 1-2 miles. April 10 Juvenile Stakes, two-year-olds, ,000 added: 1-2 mile. April 13 Ladies Stakes, two-year-old fillies, ,000 added; 1-2 mile. April 13 Orleans Handicap, three-year-olds and over, ,000 added; 3-4 mile. Secretary Kuhl is skillful in devising conditions attractive to owners and has provide well for all ages and classes of horses In the foregoing list of stakes. Consideration of their conditions is commended to all owners and liberal entries suggested.
