Incantation cut up at the post and ran a good race, but tired in the final dilve when It seemed she would be second. Anneta Lady did not run her race, Is at her best in mud, but her showing on a fast track should have been better Quadrille got a poor start and was four lengths behind the others in the first eighth, but made up ground next to the rail and quit in the stretch. Niblick was overhauling him at the end under a drive, was best and should have won. The Veiled Lady ran fairly well and will probably do better soon. It was a poor race for Knight of Rhodes, which ran well for three-quarters and quit badly; Scratched 57684 Jig Music, 102; 62170 Arby Van, 102. OFQPQ FOURTH RACE About 2 Miles. Simple Honours was always in forward contention, finished with a rush and, catching Racine II. tiring, got up to .win drawing out. Racine II. showed speed, hung on gamely when it came to a drive and would have won but for his rider breaking a stirrup. Thomond finished fast and might have been a keener contender with a good ride.
