MORE DISQUALIFICATION. CALIFORNIA KING WINS THE STONYBROOK STAKES, BUT IS SET .BACK FOB, FOULING. Ormondes Right Given the Race Frank Gill in Front Again Danny Maher to Ride for Lord Derby. New York, November 13. After the finish for the Stonybrook Stakes- today California King was disqualified for a palpable foul, he swerving to the right In the last half furlong. Ormondes Right was about to pass California King when Ross seemed not only to let his mount lore over, but also plainly to bump Ormondes Right. As the hitter was a heavily backed favorite the decision seemed popular. In the second race, won by Frank Gill, McGinnis put up-Shaw at the request of little Notter, who says he cannot do full justice to the Collar colt. The change netted success. It was the best betting race of the day. Wheeler putting ,000 on Purslane, followed by Seagram and the Canadians. Dave Johnson and Frank Farrell were told by Mc-Gluuis to go as far as they liked in backing Frank Gill and they won thousands on him.
