BENNETT AND ELLISONS YOUNGSTERS. Memphis, Tenn., November 13. C. R. Ellison and G. C. Bennett were here today looking over their valuable racing Interests, embracing young and old horses in winter quarters at Montgomery Park. Bennett has just returned from the east where he enjoyed his most profitable season on tiie turf in his career as an owner. Ellison said he failed to win much money with his racing stable, but admitted having a prosperous year with the bookmakers. Seventeen yearlings have 13611 brought in from the Bennett farm and placed in the hands of trainer Mulholland to try out for next years racing use. Ellison has five yearlings In local training Including the recently named Governor Hughes, a brother to Salvidere.
