JOHN M. P. AND DESERT CHIEF. Some doubts expressed regarding the ownership of John M. P. and Desert Chief have been cleared up by the fact that they have been entered in England by Grant Hugh Brown, xvho raced them on this side. They are now in the care of trainer Nugent and late papers from Loudon report them as doing well.
