Vah.ski held his position. Brookleaf is short. Leonardsdale disliked the track conditions. Bonheur, no separate place betting; show, 0 to 1. Governor Davis was seemingly unable to raise a .especta-I ble gallop. Clydeo showed superior early speed, but failed to stay. Inflammable . outbroke the others, was in forward contention from the start and loomed up like the m inner on the last 1 turn, then tired. Early Hours ran in close pursuit of the leaders throughout, but was forced to pull up at the end. Alma Boy ran as if waterlogged. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Fred Mul-5 iiolland was always in strenuous pursuit and gamely stood a long stretch drive, finishing an easy secondly Huerfano, after being badly outpaced in the early funning, loomed up well in the stretch, but quit again as if short. Vox Populi broke so slowly as to be nearly left and, after having trailed hopelessly last, came with a belated end rush. Rose Cherry, after early pursuit of the winner to the stretch, quit badly.
