WHITNEY BUYS WOODLAWN FARM. Lexington, Ky.. June It,. George H. Whitney has taken paaseaaioa of the Woodlawn Farm, and arisen be aaa completed improvements in the way o4 new barae and fences, will take the stallions and marcs of the M-lrose SI ud to I heir new home. The slailions are Faraudolc and Si. Maxim. In lie future Mr. Whilney"s horaea will be trained at Woodlawn and lii.s rearlings developed there. The farm lias on it probably the iinest mile training track in all Kentucky. The eonrae is thonronghly graded so that in rail y weather the water is at once carried off and it is in as good shape for use in winter as it is in the warmer weather.
