The latter, well up all the way, -finished with a great burst of speed and wa3 catching the winner at every stride. Oeorge Swain tired in the final drive aud swerved in front of Lamp-trimmer at the furlong post. The latter showed speed, but tired. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
