SEAGRAM NOW OWNS YPSILANTI. Toronto, Out., August 1!. Through the announcement of the list or entries to tlie autumn stakes at Woodbine Park it was made known today that Joseph E. Seagram recently purchased in England the noted race horse Ypsilanti and has entered him for the Toronto Autumn Cup, the Epsom Handicap and the Ontario Jockey Club Cup. Ypsilanti is nine years old, by Galore Stefanette. He was bred at the Walden farm in Maryland, bought as a yearling in 1S99 by Ulcharil Croker and taken to England. He began his racing career in that country as a two-year-old in 1!00 and up to the end of last season had won sixteen of his thirty-seven starts, taking the Kempton Park Great Jubilee Stakes twice and earning more than 0,000. He will lie seen under colors on this side of tlie Atlantic for the first time this fall. Fred Mttlcliclds good two-year-old Jubilee is a half-brother to Ypsilanti.
