Nettie Carita dashed to the front on the far turn and, running into a long lead, was under restraint at the ml. Ciena MacBride was outnm to the stretch turn hut, finishing fast and gamely, outstayed Sadie Gay for second place. The latter was very fractious in the paddock and at the post, but ran a good race and was hard ridden nil the way. Mary Darby ran fairly well and finished gaining. Ruth Howard closed a big gap. Lady Kaliiur was interfered with by Drop Stitch on the turn out of the backstrctch and forced to the lence, turned- wide into the homestretch, but finished with a rush and got up in the last two strides. Marion Moore was a forward and game contender all the way. Bayou Lark closed a big gap and finished fast. Drop Stitch showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch drive. Jupiter ran well to the stretch and tired, but held on gamely. Light Note closed a gap, then tired. Little Boot showed speed. Peter Knight quit alter early prominence and finished eased up.
