Whisk Broom look command in the llrst quarter and held sway throughout, but was fully extended o withstand the rush of Keteliemike at the end. The latter was shullled back at the start and was compelled to go around on the outside, but finished fast and gamely. Frontenae, in close quarters early, finished very fast. Padrone followed Our Boy closely from the start and, challenging gamely in the stretch, outstayed him In a long and well contested drive. Onr Boy showed the most early speed and, setting a fast pace, only succumbed in the last two strides. Kings Son closed a big gap and finished a fast going third. Andalusia ran well all the way and finished resolutely. Mamaroneck and Montclair Avere going fast and close up at the end. Czar showed speed. Moxey Mead got off tangled up. Eva Clair was saved from the early pace and sent along from the stable turn until well into the stretch, where she caught and disposed of Reticent and won going away. Reticent showed superior early speed, and held the others safe all the way, but was very tired at the end. Sylvan Belle ran well, finished gainely and had no mishaps. Jupiter, was always a close contender, but tired at the end. Dolinda ran a very bad race, which should be thrown out. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
