Core likes this track, was outpaced for the fust half, but finished like ii cvclone and was lucky to be rewarded with a dead beat in a grand race. .Fancy Bird, away poorlv, steadily Improved his position into a fast coining third. Dolly Spanker, away very badly, closed a tremendous gap in the last half and is becoming good. Heknows showed superior speed, but again failed to slay. Chief Hayes finished fast. Chantilly wis palpably short and will do to watch. P. drew out early and made the running by a wide gap and appeared all over the winner with an advantage of lifteen lengths over his nearest competitor, when he fell a half mile from home. Bayonet was a good horse today very badly ridden, blundered repeatedly and finally loll; when capably ridden he might have won. Kilter, shullled to the rear in the first quarter, closed a big gap into a fast going fourth. Ingham, away fiat footed, was rushed through on the inside into quick forward contention, but tired finally under a bad ride. Alpenmarchen was a game contender to midway of the stretch. Temaceo came with a belated stretch rush aiid his race should be thrown out. Lally had no chance at the start. Ocean Spray showed speed. Reidnioore can do much better.
