Won easily; second and third driving, heside, well meant, was taken tlie short route and found an opening on tlie inside on the backstretch to go through, passed Toddles without great effort at the half-mile post and, drawing into loiig lead, won tniteriiig. Toddles showed early speed, but was given a bad looking ride and the race Miould be thrown out. lerfector broke slowly and was outrun in the earlj- stages, then closed a big gap and finished fast, hcclesiastle showed speed, but tired. Our Boy. off lorwardly, was waited with until straightened out for the stretch run, then came fast in the last furlong and was going away at the end. Shirley It., a game contender all the way, was much used in lacing Thurbot into defeat and tired under a drive at the end. Thurbet appeared big when going to the po:sr, but showed speed before tiring as if short. Listerine finished galnely under punishment after being sharply cut off on the stretch turn. Frescati and Lexington Lady will do better. The winner was en-Ifcd for iJGOO; no bid. Scratched 71300 C. II. Shilling. 102; 71334lenial, 101; 71301 Carasco, 07. Charlie Eastman Avas taken back and waited with, until making the turn into the homestretch, then came on witli a rush through the last furlong and Avon well in hand. Cooney K., was carried very-wide when rounding the far turn and when entering the homestretch by Platoon, but closed up fast again at the -vd. Goes Fast ran well, but tired under punishment in the stretch run. Platoon showed superior early speed, but failed to stay. Mortiboy improved suddenly and was permitted to run his race today, Avent to the front at once and, opening a long lead in a jiffy, Avas under a pull through the last sixteenth. Hnrmakis. ran well, hut was under punishment all of the last furlong to stall off Rebounders challenge. The latter was outrun in the early stages but finished fast. Taunt retired after going a good half. Ormondes Right ran poorly. The winner Avas entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. Scratched 7133S Harry Scott, 105; 7133SThistle Do, 110. Royal Legend, easily best of the others, was on the inside all the Avay and saA-ed ground on every turn. Ecwatina ran avcII and shook off Scarecrow in the stretch run. AArest-ern outbroke the others and dashed to the front in the first few strides, opened a winning lead on the backstretch and Avas well in hand all of the last half mile. Excitement wore AAehber down on tlie far turn and had enough left at the end to stall off Poteuts rush. The latter came fast on the turn into the homestretch, but swerved across to the inside at the eighth post. AAehber showed speed, but quit badly. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to 1907.sh00 and bought In. Scratched 71335 Fiat, 100; 73335 Birmingham, 100.
