HAWKINS LEAVES FOR THE COAST. Lexington, Ky., October 20. Joe Hawkins, who has bad his stable in training at the Kentucky Association track for some time and shipped down to Latonia last week, left there for Oakland, Cal., last Thursday. He is pointing the two Banastar colts, .Manchester and Bannatyne, for the carlv three-year-old California events in 190S. They were both bred by Clarence H. Mackay, as were several other performers now members of the nawklns string. J. Butler will do the riding on the coast for the Kentucky trainer.
