PRAISE FOR JOHNNY EDWARDS. Baltimore, Md., November 10. Johnny Edwards, the best two-year-old shown at the Baltimore meeting, beat a much better field Friday than on the occasion of his other victory at Pimlico and performed the feat just as easily. In neither of these has he been extended, in fact he is not now within twenty pounds of his best form. This colt, unless all signs fail, will lieat nearly everything of his age in California. He was shipped to Los Angeles Monday in .charge of James Boden and will be handled carefully with a view to having him fresh for the New York tracks in the spring. Johnny Edwards is a typical Kingston and looks more like the old horse than anything he has ever sent to the races, ne is perfection in conformation and perfect in health, as he always has been since he was foah;d. When ranged alongside of him other two-year-olds look coarse and leggy. Such a good looking youngster as Braggadocio appeared cheap beside him.
