NEW STABLE IN PROSPECT. N Thomas Stevens, of Montreal, announces his in- tention of racing an extensive stable next season. Lester L. Haynian, the steeplechaser which James Boden is training for Mr. Stevens, is the best horse he owns at present, Mr. Stevens says he will take the horse home, break him to harness and drive him to a sleigh this winter with the hope of making a more hardened jumper of him.
