BREEDING BUREAUS GREAT SUCCESS. Reports fom the stallions placed by the Breeding Bureau of the Jockey Club of New York, indicate that there will be about 300 foals sired by the thoroughbred stallions. Don de Oro heads the list with twenty living foals in Broome and adjoining counties. George II. Greaves, the keeper of Don de Oro, will receive the first prize of 50 given by the Jockey Club each year to the keeiwr of the stallion having the most foals. Fatherland and Margrave are each credited witlt a dozen foals and Girdlestone with ten and the other stallions placed have foals from the number of ten down to two accredited to them. Nearly 1,500 mares have been bred this year to the fifty stallions now doing stud duty in the state of New York under the auspices of the Breeding Bureau and the list of foals for 190S is confidently expected to be a very large one.
