MADDENS .COMING TWO-YEAR-OLDS. AVhile John E. Madden will have upward of forty two-year-olds in training the coming year, he believes that the stars of his stable next year will come from the eighteen colts and six fillies which he has entered in all of the important stakes of 190S and 1909 and which are also eligible to the Futurity and other produce stakes which have already closed. Many of the choice band are closely related to some noted performers, while some are out of young marcs which were favorite fillies of the turf but a few years ago. All of them, with the exception of the chestnut colts out of Lizzie Montrose and Bewitclior, arc the product of Hamburg Place. The former was foaled at Runnymcde Stud and the latter at Elmcndorf.
