RUMORED CHANGE OF JURISDICTION. Probability that All New Orleans Racing Will Be Under American Turf Association. New Orleans, La., November 2S. There is a probability that the racing at the Fair Grounds will be conducted under the auspices of the American Turf Association. This matter has been under discussion for some time, but nothing has been definitely settled in regard to it. One advantageous result that would be welcomed by horsemen is that only one license would be necessary. In previous years while the American Turf Association and Western Jockey Club were waging war, it was necessary for a trainer and jockey to secure licenses from both organizations. In future the issue of a license to a trainer or jockey would lie good for one year from the time of its issuance and. good at any track in the west.
