Won driving; second and third the same, j Elizabeth Harwood, away slowly, moved up steadily throughout and, standing the final drive gamely, got up in the last few strides of a fast finish. Tony W., away fast and hard hustled, showed fine speed in pacomaking and held on well in the final drive. Arionette ran prominently throughout and was going fast at the end. Pinion, showing improvement, was close up all the way. Nasturtia, from a slow start, came with a rush in the last furlong and can do much better. Exotic tired in the stretch. Black Mantilla followed the winner close up from the start and was a ] game second. Kiamesha II., away slowly and knocked back at the start, got into forward contention sifter going a quarter and stood the final drive more resolutely than usual. Rose oC Pink closed a big gap steadily. Lady Maia came from a long way back in the last quarter. Vohoome showed speed, but li:vd. Anna Scott was caugbl in a jam soon after the start. Maria showed the most speed for the first three-quarters, but tired badly in the stretch. Lady Lissak was in a jam on the first turn and was gaining at the end. Deject quit badly in the last half. Lady Esther, probably best, was in a contending position for the first half, was then taken back and then, "when hard urged, finished gamely and would have won in a few more strides. Convolo began slowly and finished fast. Cablegram was away in a tangle and ran a poor race. Teo Beach ran a bad race and can do better. Robin Hood tired after going a half.
