NOTES OF THE TURF. The five-year-old chestnut mare Whimsical, by Orlando — Franconia, has been sent to Brookdale Farm, where she will be bred to Hamburg. George Hill has made arrangements to sail from New Orleans next Saturday for Buenos Ayres. where In- will take up the training of a big Argentine Stable immediately upon his arrival. Timothy Gaynor, of Hamilton. Out., who has trained for Adam Beck, the National Stable and other Canadian owners for a numtier of years, has been engaged to train for Robert Oavies this year. It is rumored that P. T. Chiun and jockey Mus- grave have parted company. Musgrave, It Is said, will commence riding for another stable when his ten days suspension for rough riding at Santa Anita has expired. The only horses Sam Emery will bring back to New York from Oakland are Blue Herou and "the two-year-old bay colt Erbert. by Herbert — Bcria. His apprentice rider. Fultou. will return with trainer Blakeley and the two horses.
