HUGHES HAS TWO PROMISING COLTS. Lexington. Ky.. March 27. — Charley Hill and White Iace arc- the names of the first two year-olds to work a half -mile over the local track. Tin y are both chestnut in color and stable mates in the string of S. K. Hughes, who bred them. Charlcv Hill is by Ingoldsby— Orlie and White Face is by Maddison — Ethel Simpson. This morning Charley Hill work d a half in r,0 and White- I.-e-e in 49ij seconds on a fast track, but not at its best. The veteran breeder was all smile* after the colts had cooled out and acted as if he did not care how many youngsters of the Marse Abe kind come here for rating in April.
