Won easily; second and third driving. Firebrand followed Dr. Lee closely until the latter fell, then went to the front and won in a canter. Berg x was always prominent in the running and. in a game finish, outstayed Thomas Hoy for second place. The latter, off badly, closed a big gap in the last quarter and finished with a rush. Prowler and Margot ran fairly well. Dr. Lee was galloping fast in front when he stumbled and fell at the head of the stretch. Comedienne and Kempton falling over him. Conrt Lady closed an early gap quickly and was reserved to midway of the stretch, then came on fast and won going away. Aralia forced the early pace into a brief lead and hung on gamely after succumbing to the winner. Cheek closed a gap steadily into a fast going third. Chaperon is promising and showed the most early speed, but finally tired as if short. Bluestock ran well. Lucille R. was off poorly and pocketed. Scratched — Insomnia. 105. Tennis closed a big gap. William Penn showed early sneed.
