Pinion, favored by a clear course and showing the most speed, won all the way and finished easing up. Lillian Ray. also "favored at the start by having a clear course, was in closest pursuit nearly all the way and finished gamely. Alice, forced to go wide most of the way. stood a hard drive gamely and outstayed Eustaeian in the closing strides. The latter showed improvement, closed a big gap and ran a good race. She Wolf tired badly after showing speed for a quarter. The Slicker was in a jam most of the way. Lit Ih- Mose had scant chance with the interference he was subjected to. After All had a rough trip. There was much crowding in back of the three leaders in the early running. The winner was entered for $.".uo: no bid. Seratched — 737»0Maritza, 10S. Risk, hard ridden and clear "of interference, ran well, but just managed to outstay Bess Ward for second place. The latter ran well and finished gamely. Lorimer ran well to the stretch, but tired in the final drive. Tilekilns showed improvement and was gaining at the end. Rural Boy appeared sore when going to the pest and can do much better. Gilpin went into the lead at once and set a fast pace, raced Lady Vincent into defeat in the first mile and came away in the final furlong to win as his rider pleased. Lady Vincent, on the extreme outside throughout, ran a gixxl race, but tired slightly in the closing drive. Jungle Imp ran well and closed ■ big gap in the last quarter. Louise Macfarlan came with a rush in the last half and would have been third iu a few more strides. St. Bellane tired fast after going three-quarters and may have been short. Adesso loomed up on the stretch turn and tired suddenly. Cull ran below his best form. Alcor ran well for a half. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
