Vpttng gained steadily f.rom a slow beginning and but for going wide would have been much closer up. Rexall was prominent most of the way and outstayed Miss Felir in the closing strides. The latter ran well, but tired near the finish. Toplofty closed a big gap and tlrefc in the last quarter. -Etal and Queens Daughter began slowly and made up some ground. Alice Baird was taken wide, but came with a rush through the stretch and got up In the final stride for third place. Enfield set the pace to the stretch and quit badly in the last furlong. PInkola was a forward contender at the three-quarters, where he was pocketed and was forced to be taken back and go around, then finished last and might have won with a clear course. Czar had 110 mishaps. Wool Saudals showed speed, but quit badly in the last quarter. Scratched 77307 Old Honesty. Bitter Sir was made much use of in racing into a contending position in the first half and quit near the end. Nataslia tired and had no mishaps. Baroda was well up for a half.
