Gallnda ran a good, game race and finished fast. Bellethorpe nhowed the most speed for a half mile and then tired fast. Street Singer ran moderately well. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Gold-way, away well, was taken back on the far turn, but moved up fast after entering the stretch and, easily overhauling Adoration, won going away. Adoration showed great speed for six and a half furlongs, but lired Badly when challenged by the winner. Dainty Belle was always prominent, but tired int5 a distant third in the final eighth. King Leopold finished well. Earl Rogers went well for six furlongs. Homeless was almost thrown "to-his. knees In the. first quarter In a jam, completely spoiling his chances. Brush Up broke slowly, but moved up quickly Into a contending position and, finishing resolutely under punishment, outgamed Nonie Lucille. The latter raced forwardly throughout and finished well, but was not good enough. Fleming closed a gap in a long stretch drive and was going fast at the end. Kerry made up ground and quit badlv in the final sixteenth. Old Settler went well for a half and quit. Tim OToole set a fast pace and quit just after entering the stretch. Elizabeth F. showed great speed throughout and finished resolutely under the whip, but could not withstand the winners closing challenge. Senator Beckham made up ground gradually all of the final quarter, finishing fast under the whip. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 00 and bought by O. E. Ware. Scratched 78090 Niblick. 109.
