GALEN BROWN NOW LN FRANCE. Galea Brown, who for some time has been living in Chicago in quiet retirement from the turf, has gone to France in response to a call from William Duke, and reached Maisons Ijiffitte a week ago. Duke trains the big stable of W. K. Vanderbilt. and the pres-umpiion is tbat Brown is to lie his asi-: ant. He is a skillful man with horses and should made a good impression abroad.
