MIAMI QUITE A MUD RUNNER. Lexington. Ky.. April 20. — The Kentucky Association track, after au all-night and all-day rain, is very muddy, but three days of sunshine will make it fast for the opening of the spring meeting on Saturday. The only work of moment this morning was Miamis mile in 1:4ft. The Cauiden candidate for the Kentucky Derby did this in mud ankle deep and rati all the way iu the middle of the track. • Oneck Stable and McLaughlin made entries. Statesman ami Trance are among the entries. This alone insures a great raiv. Oreen B. Morris, the veteran turfman, will ship a horse to Pimlico with Tom Welshs striug. Billy Weir got in from Jacksonville today with throe horses. The Belmont striug of fifteen arrived yesterday from Oarnet. S. t.
