C00NEY K. DEFEATS OLD ALENC0N. San Antonio. Tex.. April 21.— Ideal weather, a fast track and well filled races attracted a large crowd to witness the racing this afternoon. The opening race w.-nt to Nila after a sharp str.-lch brush with Dr. Sm.jot and Severn, during which jockey Singleton again displayed his skill in riding two year olds, his strong finish landing his mount a winner by a small margin. Considerable interest was centered ill the second race, in which Coney K. and Alelli were well liked by the bet tors. The former rewarded his backers with an Impressive victory, never leaving the result in doubt at any stage ,,f the contest. Sibvl Kemp captured the I bird.
