SOME HORSES LEFT AT NEW YORK. Slow Tracks Restrict Training Work but Useful Gallops Are Given Backward Racers. New York. April 2.1. — With so many horses stray to Iinilico and the going heavy, not much galloping was done at cither Gravesend or Sheepshead Bav. Julius Bauer had Marie Rue and Plorimcl work a half in 33. and Mon Reve followed over the same distance in ."4.. The Warner two year-olds. Young Belle and Viols! Scent, were galloped briskly and finished up with a half in ." :!!. Tally Coulter, who recently decided that he would not race his string at Pimilco. should surely have a very lit lot for the opening of the season at Belmont Paik. He was on hand at Sheepshead Bay with Brother Jonathan and Hoffman, and thev went along for six furlongs in 1 :2fi and were eager at all times to run much faster.
