Matt Allen has been assigned a stable on the boulevard side of the Jraveseud truck and will move over from his place on Coney Island road within o few days. Trainer Allen lias lx-cn using Cravesend for a training ground all spring, and securing I stable within the track will add considerably to his convenience. At the Pimlico track that fast horse. Red River, which would have won many races hut for intirui knees, is said to have worked six furlongs in 1 :15 recently. He is owned by William Garth, who tins also a last two-year sM called The Monk. Garth has engaged Mclntyrc formerly iu S. C. Hildreths employ, to ride for him.
