RACING GOSSIP FROM PIMLICO. Baltimore. Mil.. April 88. — Cross-country rider Mr Kinnev has received an offer from Thomas Hitchcock. Jr.. lo ride in France, but be will stay here for the remainder of the Pimlico meeting at least. Several horses in the Tunioy stable, which were shipped here from Memphis, are ailing. One of his I wo y.-ar olds died Saturday morning, and the two three-year olds. The* Cook and Sig. are in bail shape. The reports of T. S. Martins breakdown are not altogether unfounded. The horse went wrong in one of his tendons and had to be let up on. but he is out and galloping again at Pimlico and his trainer hopes to see him stand ami win again in his old brilliant style. Several of the youngster* in the Waldcn stable are coughing. Tie pick of the youngsters in his lot is said to be Beau Chilton, a colt by Chilton — Belle Acton. He is a grand looker and has shown much speeil in his work. Beau Chilton is the prop erty of A. H. and D. H. Morris, and he has been nominated to the Doucaster St. Leger ami Grand Prix de Paris of MM by R. W. Walden.
