ANTI-RACING MEASURE IN FLORIDA. Bill Passes the Senate, but Belief Prevails That House Will Not Concur. Tallahassee. Fla.. May 2S. — Members of the state senate yesterday took an attitude directly opposed to that of the house on the racing question. They passed the Sloan anti-gambling bill, directed against horse racing, by the vole of IS to 7. This bill was introduced soon after the favorable measure whi h the house [Hissed aa* the question of permitting betting on races. It is hardly believed that the bill will pass the house.
