NO MEETING AT DENVER.. John Condon Returns to Chicago Convinced That Conditions Are Unfavorable, Denver. Col.. May 28.— John Condon, who has been here for several days conferring with the directors of Overland Park over the local racing situation, left lor Chicago last night convinced that there la no chance for the carrying out of the plans for a snm mer meeting. Political factors are still rife and the differences which were supposed to have been harmonized have only been smoldering. It is believed that no matter which side tried to hold a running meeting, opposition would develop. Moreover, the meetings held at the half mile track lust outside the city limits have uot enthused anyone over the sport. Mr. Condon said that if there was any — illlaluli in the meeting he did not want to see the horsemen bear the expense of shipping uselessly.
