i MONTREAL RACING STATISTICS. The Montreal Jockey Clubs spring meeting, which opened at Blue Bonnets June 5. and came to I close Saturday. June I.l. embraced thirteen racing lavs. During that time seventy nine races were decided and flic total distribution in stakes and purses was 7.1182. ami seventy six owners shared in the distri bution. thirty-four winning 0 or more each. W. Walker is at the head of the list of winning owners with ,045 to hie credit. J. W. Colt is second, his horses having won §3.887. Third place falls to William Garth with ,320. Hanbridge lowered the three-quarters mark to 1:121 and a few days later Chief Hayes hung mi a new time for seven furlongs, riiiining tin- distance in 1:26.
