Won driving: second and third the same. Prince Gal outbroke, outpaced and outstayed his opposition decisively. Cohort ran lapiied on the winner throughout in a remarkably game effort. Rialto. slow at the start and shuffled back, steadily improved his position and made a fast, but belated, finish. Desirous, from an inside bad start, closed a big early gap uickly and loomed up menacingly midway of the stretch, but tired finally and was pocketed. Sir Alveseot. nearly left, closed a tremendous gap. Bat Masterson steadily improved his position under a bad jockev. Seymour Beutler ran well up for five furlongs. St. Joseph, from a flying start, ran in early forward and persistent pursuit of the pacemakers and got up in the last stride. Bonnie Kelso, from ■ slow start, was luckily and forwardly placed and just failed to get up In a belated stretch challenge. Dreamer, from a flying start, set the pace to the last stride before being headed and seemed short. Blackford, moderately well up early, steadily improved his position and loomed up well midway of the stretch, but tired and was pocketed at the end. Lad of I-ingden. shuffled rearward early, steadily worked through a rough journey and was gaining at the close. Ragman was a prominent contender for nearly a mile and tired. Golconda. crowded rearward early, closed a gap. Cotytto got away poorlv and was pulled up. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched — S254!3Shapdale. 91. Alfred Noble, from a flying start, was reserved under a pull in nearest pursuit of Harrigan in the middle r-.iniiing and drew out like a shot midway of the stretch, but was mildly driven finally. Fashion Plate ran in forward pursuit of the pacemakers throughout, but could never quite get up after being crowded into a wide stretch turn. Affliction ran forwardly and persistently throughout and was a fast going and close un third. Harrigan set a tremendous pace early and tired badly in the last sixteenth under an injudicious ride. Live Wire, always well up. loomed up rapidly on the stretch turn and tired in the stretch. Home Agiiin ran well all the way aud is promising. Fountainblue was short and Is a grand looker. Gild ran forwardly throughout and was a game third. Rockstone. shuffled back on the first turn, trailed leisurely for the remainder of the journey. McCart?r. prominent for six furlongs, quit badly and was very sore. Spooner showed speed for six furlongs and was short. The winner was entered for 1909.sh00; no bid. Jaequelina. nnready at the Start, met early interference, but closed up steadily, failed in an attempt to come through on the inside in the stretch anil was pocketed securely afterwards.
