SUCCESSFUL SALE AT NEW YORK. New York. June 20.-— A consignment of thirty-one race homes in training, from the stables of Harry Payne Whitney. James It. Keene and other owners, were sold at auction today by the Fasig-Tipton Company. Oood prices were realized for the Westbury and Castleton-brod horses. The average I er head for the whole lot was ]G. They are all in the market for thoroughbreds to replenish their stablea. A big shipment of yearlings arrived todav from Kentucky. Clarence II. Mack ay has shipped eleven yearlings abroad to be sold in Kngland. He also sent rive here to be sold. August Belmont has shipped four mares, in foal, to his stud in France.
