Prince Imperial was taken wide most of the way and could not have lost with an energetic ride. Jack Straw trailed distantly for the first three furlongs and was taken wide into the stretch. Ixud Cliuton quit after leading for thr.-e furlongs. Autumn Rose was a forward contender tor the first three furlongs, but tired in the stretch. Keside ran a good race and finished gamely. Hiram held on well in the last quarter. Llsterine, away poorly and cut off on the first turn, closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Keep Moving was hustled into the lead from the start and showed the most speed, but was tiring in the stretch and just lasted long enough. The Peer, much the best, was taken back in the first half and allowed to go extremely wide in the stretch, but finished with a rush and almost got up. Alice had BO mishaps and ran a good race.
