The features are the Laurier Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, at a mile and an eighth. A six-furlongs handicap, for all ages, in which some of the best sprinters here are entered, and a steeplechase over the short course. The fields in all races are evenly balanced. Insuring stirring contests. As the track is in splendid shape, Canadian records are in danger.
