HIGH RANGE followed the pacemaker closely and moved up rapidly after entering the homestretch, but tired after getting to the leader. CAMPAIGNER ran well and outstayed NETHERMOST in the stretch drive. The latter was taken back in the fust quarter and tired after moving up menacingly on the stretch turn. FIRST PREMIUM came around the leaders when entering the homestretch and finished fast and gamely. TEN PACES ran well, but was in close quarters all the way and sharply cut off in the stretch, then cut across to the inside and was best and should have won. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
