STARTLER, cut off at the start and forced to go around on the outside, finished with a rush and almost got np. The latter moved up on the outside with a rush after entering the homestretch, but tired after passing the leaders at the furlong post. MOXCREIF finished fast and outgamnd the tirlnir DONAIT. The latter broke from the extreme outside, but took the lead at once and cut across to the inside and threw FONT against the fence. Then tired as if short after running a fast half. The latter ran on the outside of the leaders until well around the far turn, thou went into the lead, but his rider was of but little help to him when it came to the finish. DISCONTENT finished well and wore ELM ETA HAMILTON down in the homestretch for third place. The latter ran well to the stretch. PEEP OVER quit badly after setting the earlv pace.
