ANOTHER ABE PRANK JUVENILE WINS. El Paso, Tex., January 7. Springlike weather and the running of the Chapultepee Selling Stakes attracted a good attendance to Tcrrazas Parle today. Large fields were the order of the day aud the talent found it difficult to pick winners. In the feature race of the day Meadow, from the stable of W. Mc-Lemore. easily disposed of her opposition, the pace being ridiculously slow, which was to her liking. The daily two-year-old race resulted in another victory for a Texas-bred filly and added another score to the credit of the Texas stallion, Abe Frank, which thus far has sired the winners of three of the four races run for horses of that age, besides furnishing several of the placed contenders. At the conclusion of the fifth and sixth races the winners wore bid up by J. Pinkstaff. who ran up Ellenl to 700 and Gilpy to . Both horses were retained by their respective owners. W. McLeniore arrived today and had the pleasure of seeing Ids good race mare, Meadow, win the principal event of the day. The Slicker bled when running prominently in the second race. Bound the World and The Hague are temporarily out of active training. The former will be pointed for the Juarez and Kentucky Derbys.
