SCRIMMAGE ran in improving form and was a close contender almost from the start. THE WHIP ran a good race and was crowded against the inside fence by the winner while rounding the far turn. IDLEWEISS, after being reserved for over a half, moved up rapidly on the outside while rounding the far turn and drew away into a long lead In the homestretch. TRUSTEE showed the most speed for six fur-kngs, but was a fast tiring second. DETECT ran well and was wearing TRUSTEE down at the end for second place. MIXTA began slowly and ALDIVIA was as good as left. ANTENOR ran forwardly for five furlongs and quit. The winner, entered for 1911.sh00, was bid up to 05 and bought in. AMllTE WOOL followed the leaders close up to the stretch turn, where he slipped through on the inside when T. M. GREEN went wide and, finishing with a rush, won going away. AYLMER was crowded back to last place on the first turn, but gained steadily through the last quarter and outstayed T. M. GREEN for second place. T. M. GREEN, probably short, set a fast pace to the stretch, but was tiring in the last furlong and bearing over to the outside. ALDRIAN met with interference on the turn out of the hackstretch and finished with a rush through the last quarter. FONT retired to the rear early.
