ARRESTS AT OAKLAND TRACK. San Francisco. Cal.. January 19. The Al Farrow Handicap, the feature of todays card at Oakland, resulted in a nose victory for Likely Dieudonne. The victor closed equal favorite with Daddy Gip Tor the race, which was at live and a half furlongs. Llkelv Dieudonne was In front all the way anil though quitting at the end, lasted to win by a narrow margin. Rainv weather prevailed early in the afternoon and the track was sloppy. Dutch Rock proved a surprise in the first race and won in a romp. Les-car. the favorite, was knocked out of contention early by Mona Lisa. .Michael Angelo, favorite for the mile dash, made a iwor showing, being apparently unable to run in the going. Shortly before the fifth race was decided. John Doe warrants were served on G. Blume and two of his clerks bv representatives of District Atorney Donahue of Alameda County, charging violation of the Walker-Otis anti-betting laws. The arrests tame as a surprise. Joseph Schveiber bid up Altarec from 00 to 00 and became his owner. Early Wright claimed Miss Picnic for S625.
