FRANK MULLENS DEFEATS FOLLIE LEVY. El Paso, Tex., January 19. Beautiful weather and the attraction of the Monterey Selling Stakes drew an attendance of 3,500 to Terrazas Park today. The races were interesting throughout and the finishes close enough to suit the most captious. Post time Tor the feature event found Follle Levy ii strong favorite, while Flying Wolf and Frank Mullens were not overlooked. The favorite was never able to overtake the ilyiug pacemaker, Frank Mullens. Price McKinney, aceomanied by S. W. McKonna, vice-president of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad, arrived in the formers private car today to attend the annual meeting of the stockholders of the Jockey Club Juarez. They will remain for a few days and then go to California. W. II. Kraft and Joseph and Charles Quailey, stockholders in the club, arrived from Chihuahua today to attend the annual meeting. !. H. Brencherly. clerk of the course at. the Cou-dessa track in Mexico City, was a visitor today and expressed himself as astonished by the class of racing and the magnitude of the plant here. The success of three favorites, a second and a third choice did much to help the public recover losses of the past few days.
