WOODLANDER began slowly, but closed a, big gap into a fast going second. HEX STOXE set the early pace and hung on gamely to the end. TOXY FAUST closed si big gap iuto forward contention and tired in the stretch racing. MISS PICXIC tired after running well to the stretch. LORD PROVOST quit badly. CASH OX DELIVERY followed the early pacemaker in close pursuit to the final furlong, then passed him with a rush and won in a canter. SIDOX beat the barrier and set the pace fast, but gave way readily to the winner when challenged. MILLO was in the worst going next to the rail all the way and ran a good 1 ace under a poor ride. FORT .TOIIXSOX ran a good race and seemed dangerous in f the stretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. STARRY NIGHT finished fast and almost got up for third 1 p.ace. RIXDA was best, but reared up in the air at the start and lost much ground, then , came on fast into a gaining third. BILLY MYER set the pace to the stretch, but tired and quit in the B final drive. LOUISE R. ran a good five furlongs and tired. LUCILLE MAXLEY ran well to the streteh.
