THOROUGHBREDS OF A NEW BREEDER. t New York. March 22. William W. Lowrey, a New Jersey sportsman who took up the breeding of thoroughbreds Immediately after the Hughes anti-racing crusade was started In New York, has a breeding place called the Papakating Stud, situated at Sussex. N. J. He has seven three-year-olds at Papakating Stud, four two-year-olds and one yearling. .Mr. Lowrey will sell the three-year-olds, but he may kaei "the two-year-olds and yearling to race himself. The three-year-olds at Papakating are Maid or Wantage, brown filly by Flambeau Impatience; Popper Cotton, brown colt by Flambeau Lady Trebla: Robin the Beau, chestnut colt by Flambeau Waste; Dissenter, chestnut colt by Flanfbeau Dissent; General Kilnatrick, chestnut gelding by Flambeau Countess: Miss oShanter. chestnut filly bv Flambeau Shiftless, and Sandys Lassie, chestnut fill- by Flambeau Skirl. Mr. Lowrevs two-year-olds are Nails, chestnut colt bv Popinjay Bessie Taylor: Coroza. chestnut filly bv Popiiijav Blanche Herman; Fruitful, brown gelding by Popinjay Impatience, and Ferlda, bay lillv bv Ponlnjay Couiitess. The yearling is- a chestnut filly, unnamed as yet. by Popinjay Dissent.
