AMERICAN GIRL dashed into a long lead while rounding the stretch turn and was stowed down to a canter in the last sixteenth. HIGH BROW was hard ridden all the way and ran a good race, but tired and .lust lasted long enough to outstay NELLO for second place. The latter gained steadily from a slow beginning and finished with great speed. ARANV ran well throughout. CLEARWATER closed a big gap in the last quarter. GOLDEN RUBY began, slowly and ran on the outside all the way. DANISH GIRL ran well and is improving. QUINCY BELLE raced well to midway of the stretch and tired as if short.
